Referee Reporting (Assault/Abuse/Other)

USSF Misconduct towards Game Officials

This is the official US Soccer Policy for determining what constitutes Referee Abuse and/or Referee Assault. Please review the document prior to reporting an incident.

US Soccer Referee Report

The form above is to be used for the reporting of misconduct directed towards the Game Officials, that would be defined as Assault/Abuse. The reports must be reported to the Local League, event State Governing Association, and the State Referee Administrator within 48 hours of the incident occurance.

Request for Reinbursement

Use the Referee Request for reimbursement form for repayment of travel, incidental, and misc expenses incurred on behalf of the SRC

KSRC Referee Requirements Policy for self-nominations to USSF Events

The KSRC provides support, when approved, for our Kansas Referees to travel to selected venues to develop their careers. Because we are stewards of the funds, this policy letter outlines the give backs for this support.

USSF Referee Code of Ethics

US Soccer believes that becoming a Referee is a privilege along with defined responsibilities. What are your responsibilities as a US Soccer Referee? The details are spelled out in this document. The Code of Conduct should be read by everyone who becomes a certified Referee.

US Soccer Referee Grade Requirements

US Soccer has defined the pathways for Referee advancement. The requirements to certify/recertify at each specific grade are outlined in this presentation. 


Please note the SRC Policy letter on Grades which does allow the State of Kansas to add specific requirements by grade.

Referee Game Portfolio Spreadsheet

It is very important that as a Referee plans their advancement that they keep track of their matches (count, level of competition, etc.) For Regional Referees this is a requirement. This spreadsheet can be used as your template for managing this information. Download the spreadsheet, add information that you believe will help your development and be prepared to share this as your game count record.
