Join the KRDP Mighty Network Portal

The KRDP Mighty Network portal is a free online educational platform for Kansas Referees. You're encouraged to download the Mighty Networks app and engage with totally free continuing education resources. This app and the IFAB Laws of the Game app should be the go-to resources on your phone to help you be successful as a referee!


If you're not already in the Mighty Networks platform, you'll be prompted to create a free account and answer a few questions. A member of our KRDP admin team will review your answers and approve your participation in the platform usually within 12-24 hours.

Completing Your Recertification

US Soccer referees are required to complete recertification annually in order to remain in good standing. In Kansas, this process costs $80 and is completely online through the OMS platform.


2025 Referees Seeking 2026 Recertification

The window for 2026 recertification is closed. Please wait until the 2027 recertification window is open. Ideally, this will occur after July 1st, however additional email notification will hit your inbox when it is available.


2027 Recertification

If the last year you were certified was 2026, 2025 or 2024, you'll only need to complete the online recertification for 2027 when that is made available. If the last year you were certified was 2023 or later, you'll need to go back through the entry level course in order to be eligible to referee US Soccer sanctioned matches.

Additional Continuing Education Opportunities

There are many chances to become both a better referee and a better person in Kansas. The Kansas Referee Development Program is proud to continue adding to the list below of continuing education opportunities:


KRDP Mighty Networks Portal. This ever-growing repository of resources is a constant work in progress to provide you the best tools to hone your craft. Create a FREE account and join our online community HERE.


Monthly Educational Meetings. Once a month, the KRDP hosts a meeting (Zoom and in-person options available). This meeting is available for any US Soccer official and more information can be found HERE.


Summer & Winter Clinics. In July and December every year, the KRDP joins hands with the Brian White Classic (July) and the ODP Winter Friendlies (December) to provide educational opportunities online, on the field and in the classroom. Learn more about the Summer Clinic and the Winter Clinic.
